Raun Raun Theatre

The theatre, done with Paul Frame and finished in '82, was home base for an Eastern Highlands acting troupe. Raunhauses were the traditional village shelter thereabouts, and this public building upscaled that form whilst keeping the materials the same. Arup's engineering expertise helped us achieve this, the only building I've worked on that has been featured on a national postage stamp!
