'Lamy' birthday

This is an image of our improvised birthday cake for Charlie on his sixth birthday. We were on the road, driving south from Cairns on our way back from Papua New Guinea. We had no way of cooking a cake so we made a pyramid with lamingtons.

I chose to make the timing of the scene in the dark (although it actually happened in the daytime) with the glow of the candles manifest and responding to the breath.
