This must be the place
‘THIS MUST BE THE PLACE’ is a quote from a Roy Lichtenstein painting title that I always admired. In Lichtenstein's case, a space ship is flying by a futuristic city, and someone inside looking out the window at the wondrous scene reduces it to the 'every day' with this prosaic remark.
In the case of my print, the cyclist is thinking these thoughts when he is confronted by the huge scale of Milton Brewery. The Brewery sits before a hillside of timber cottages with Mt Coot-tha behind.
