Platform 2, Riverview
Visitors to Mt Crosby sometimes come out this way by train. I pick them up at Platform 2, Riverview.
The platform building is a simple shed with a strutted roof overhang ... there are many similar sheds throughout the state. It's hard to see, with a fine heritage like this, how recent efforts (like the one at lndooroopilly) can be so poor.
The lighting, paths and fencing have haphazardly changed over the years with little respect for the station as a whole. All this is by way of saying that as a now retired architect, I find it difficult to make prints of places I like without making some changes ... permission not required!
